Seri Ratu Confinement Services was founded in 2024 by Pn. Waheeda—a mother whose personal journey inspired her to create a better postpartum experience for other women.
She understood that after childbirth, a mother needs more than physical recovery. She needs emotional support, proper nourishment, sufficient rest and someone dependable to guide her through the unfamiliar days of motherhood.
With this purpose, Seri Ratu was born: to ensure that no mother has to navigate her postpartum journey alone.
Growing Together
From One Mother’s Vision to Three Mompreneurs
What began as Pn. Waheeda’s personal mission soon grew into a shared vision.
By 2026, Seri Ratu was led by three dedicated mompreneurs — Pn. Waheeda, Pn. Amirah & Pn. Amalina, each bringing her own experience, strengths and passion to the company. Together, they transformed Seri Ratu from a home-based confinement service into a growing maternal-care brand serving families in Malaysia and overseas.
As mothers themselves, they understand the realities of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and postpartum recovery. This shared understanding remains at the heart of every decision they make.
Creating Opportunities
Empowering Women Through Skills and Income
Seri Ratu was created not only to care for mothers, but also to empower women.
To date, we have trained more than 100 Confinement Ladies, equipping them with essential knowledge, practical skills and professional standards in postpartum and newborn care.
Through training and continuous development, these women are given opportunities to build sustainable careers, generate income and improve the lives of their families—while providing meaningful support to mothers during one of the most important stages of their lives.

Within just two years, Seri Ratu has attended more than 3,000 mothers in Malaysia and overseas.
Our care goes beyond traditional confinement. We provide a comprehensive postpartum journey through professional Confinement Lady services, postnatal treatments, confinement meals, breastfeeding support and personalised maternal care.
Every mother’s journey is different. Therefore, our services are designed to provide the right support according to her individual needs, preferences and recovery journey.
